The antique stuffs are heavy, usually made of wood and pure metal. Compared to the famous plastic ware on the new generation.

I welcome you to the old days where brown colors are everywhere. The paintings on the wall are very lonely to look at.  They invite a feeling of loneliness.

The old fashioned crib, made of wood. The design is very simple, I might add some foam and something soft on it.

I always feel sleepy by just looking at the bedroom, I prefer the bedroom to have more lights. This is the romantic way I guess. But the old style looks this way, more solemn atmosphere.

Do you feel sleepy at all?

What I imagine right now is the kind of food being served during meals at those times.

Maybe I have been from the past life, I really appreciate this kind of atmosphere, a little bit gloomy and mysterious.

I dream to be in a portrait like this wearing same kind of outfit with a very good looking husband beside me heheheh. That is just a dream which is free by the way.

Another form of antique aura. The boat that you see is the boat that old people used to transport themselves  when they traveled from Cebu Cito to Mactan area. Bridges were not introduced during those times.

Maybe I was born during those ages?

It feels so nice to be here, good thing that some tourists from other countries are not visible, they are somewhere in the living room or upstairs. Good for me to get a pose before they come over.

The lamp at the right side reminds me of something, my grandparents have lamps like this one.

I have observed that the color brown is the most dominant during old days. The old things look very plain and very simple.

Look at the quality, the color is gloomy too.

This is the entrance when you go upstairs, when you reached there, it is scary. Everything looks like there are shadows. Maybe because of poor lighting to emphasize the antique feeling and aura but I love the presentation very much.

Imagine you have a big mirror like this in your bedroom. Can you just open your eyes in the middle of the night? You might see something.

Everything from the past, I deeply value with respect and admiration.

I like to own an antique house where there are collections of jars, old lamps, furniture and frames. I feel like I own this house, the big and old mirror is a little bit scary when you're in front of it. You might see another reflection. Good thing I do not have third eye.

Do you mind sharing a meal with me?

This looks gloomy and feels like you are from another century. I feel relaxed when I moved my mind backwards like centuries ago. Life is less complicated I guess.

I love capturing myself through a mirror without looking at it. This is the best because I was able to capture the old stuffs.

I wish I will be able to wear the same outfit one day. The old and antique aura always inspires me to look back.

I love everything that is pleasant to the eyes.

I am always inspired of the saying that goes "time flies whether you're having fun or not," this means that time is precious. I choose to do meaningful things and meaningful ways that will touch other people's lives, create moments with them, inspire them in the simple ways that I can. I prefer to have a simplified thought because life is a clock. Each minute has its own design to cherish and to respect of. I do not make fun of other people's mistakes and shortcomings because nobody is perfect. I respect individual's choices. Each of us has our own story and each one of us has our own journey to take care of. At the end of the day, we are the only one accountable for our own doings, while we are still here in this world, let us make our best  in a righteous manner. We are allowed to experience and enjoy life but let us not forget that we have a clock in life. For me, life is not at all having fun, it is about touching lives and creating moments that inspire a lot. I am happy when I make others happy. I am happy when I know that I am not the cause of someone's misery. I do not wish to make someone cry and be sad because of me. As much as I can, I do my best to be just simply me who listens your story and respect your journey. I am just simply me.

Day 5 - I Am Made to Last

Our days and years on Earth are the preparation for our eternal lives after here. The tasks and responsibilities we have today are the preparation for our next lives. This is like a rehearsal. I stop worrying from now because each day is planned by God and I put everything in God's hands. Although I tend to worry a little bit as part of humanity, I have to reflect everyday that God is our divine planner. Things happen for reasons, not for our own wants and likes but His divine plan and design. Trust is a big word that we should plant in our hearts and not trusting things according to worldly standards. The standards of the world are often misleading, if we do not put trust  to God, we will have an unpleasant detour. I made some odd detour in my life, made some worst decisions but life is a long way ahead. My clock is moving as permitted by God Himself. I want to make something better for the rest of my years. Someday, I will be put to bigger responsibility by God. Each life is already designed for a purpose. Worries kill us and doubts make us go into troubles. Prayers guide our thoughts,deepen our trust in the Lord. Everything does not happen overnight. Constant practice of good deeds and kindness and  constant communication with the Lord is a good decision to start for a hopeful and meaningful journey. And so I am here to start my early morning with a cheerful heart.
